2010 Trends

Filed under: News — morris @ 5:16 am

With the Noughties well and truly behind us now (for the better I think) we can now look forward, or not look forward to some of the biggest trends that are to come into 2010 and take the world by storm.

So what are these so called trends and why are they going to be coming this year of all years?

Interior Design

It looks like people are simply refusing to splash out on expensive furniture this year which means that giants like IKEA are likely to suffer, shame. It looks like this year people are going retro with their furniture and looking for 60s pieces because they last longer. Bedroom furniture is set to be on the top of the list this year with white wardrobes being a must have. Dining room furniture is the next room on the list apparently.

Beauty

2010 is also going to be a big year for those people who wake up with bed hair and cannot be bothered to sort it out as bed hair is a must. On top of this grey hair and bold eyebrows are set to come into play along with a rather surprising bald headed fashion. If I were you I wouldnt start to shave your head until spring, you may feel the chill at the moment!

Fitness

Although I must admit my girlfriend taking up pole dancing lessons would be pretty awesome it looks like that died with the Noughties and by the looks of things it doesnt look like there are any obvious changes to fitness at the moment. However group fitness work is set to come in to save a bit of money.

Travel

In terms of taking a vacation it looks like the end for staying in your own country as money comes in again after the recession and we set off to our favourite holiday destinations on a much needed break.

So although money is still going to be tight this year I think it is quite clear by the trends we are likely to see that as a nation we are slowly picking ourselves up from the recession.
